WIP Swallow in blues

Had a lull in illustrating and strained my back so sitting long was not an option and tada an old canvas got primed some paint added. I keep seeing wisteria in the background but  not sure how to go about it as  I do not want to lose the vertical lines. Ack I can't draw a straight line for anything lol.

Justifying my galaxy tab- girl playing a violin

  My kindle died about a month ago and I did not want to buy another one and be so restricted and decided I had a wealth of paper back novels and that could last me a long long time. That turned out to be 3 weeks max, after which I broke into my piggy bank and went to town to buy a small  tablet.  One of the justification I gave to myself was that I would be able to work easier away from home when doing "mum things" :) So after downloading a number of programs ( yup I can't just get one), and getting a bamboo stylus ( finger painting was just not doing it for me), I finally used the free sketchbook pro to draw something today.  Now I just have to see if I can do something similar on my paid for art programs or if I have to upgrade the free one :) Linking to Sunday Sketches.

.. the colours are so wrong here on blogger. They are muted in the original file and on facebook. Any one knows why?

passing time

As I tried to climb over a fence today to get to the other side, my foot slipped on the light snow covering and I slammed one of my fingers into a cement sewage pipe that was resting near by. Boy does it hurt. Luckily it is on the left hand and not the right but it is rather painful after 2hours and interfering with work so I have decided I will just pass time today :~ 

Below is a little fairy I was working on. Yup she has funk legs LOL I should have put a hint of a knee but it was interfering with the line I wanted LOL

Entered this into a competition - a tad bit dark lol but it was a fun exercise to do.

Had hoped to add something specific for SS but with the finger still swollen and coming down with a cold yesterday this is it. Hope everyone is well  and join our friends at Sunday Sketches.
