Relaxing cutwork on Sunday

I sit and watch our sheep graze and hope that we have come to an understanding about boundaries. On  Thursday we got a flock of 17 sheep and were not ready for them, so they had the run of the place so to speak. Friday we finished setting up the electrical fence - the Economical version- and they laughed at that. Saturday we had the almost the optimal version (4 as of opposed to  2 strings of wire) and they seem to be respecting this so far (knock on wood).   No, no sheep drawing as yet :)
To try to relax my brain I got out my art knife and played with a bird doodle and a sweet cheeks image.
- just a scrap of plane  paper

- added black acrylic paint and then a 3d type lacquer finish. Do not really like the result here and it stuck to the paper. Need to invest in felt-pens if I wish to colour the cut work as the paint makes it too soft and sticky .

Hope you have a wonderfully relaxing Sunday and pop by Sophia's Sunday Sketches to to see some wonderful art.
Cheers
