Wicked Wednesday ATC Challenge on a Saturday

Been wanting to get back into doing ACEOs for a couple of weeks but as things go things get put aside. But alas as I am sponsoring it and a little birdie reminded me about the topic here is my version of a  little mermaid for the ACT/ACEO challenge at  Wicked Wednesday.

Snowman on a snowy night

At Wicked Wednesday this week the theme is Black and White, so I thought  sheep in the dark - seeing only the whites of their eyes and bit of wool - if the sheep are nice clean non-romping around the bush and neighbourhood sheep aka not my sheep. So I sat and look at a 2.5x3.5 inch black piece of card, and looked and looked really hard until my latent secrete desire for snow (which has not as yet come this winter) emerged and I began to see the outlines of a snowman on a dark snowy winter's night.

Angelscape 2 on Wednesday

I decided to do a series of these , so I am hoping to do at least one more this week. Doing more than one of something is something of a challenge for me :)
Here is a little ACEO , it is watercolour and acrylic. I guess it is my entery for AEDM day 8 and 9 and for Wicked Wednesday's ATC challenge whose theme is Angel.

Alice in wonderland - mushroom time

 

Today is day 4 of Art every day for a month and I decided to do this week's  Wicked Wednesday ATC challenge which is Alice in wonder land.   So if you got a moment pop these two wonderful challenges as see what every one else is up to.  The colours came out a bit more muted than I would have likes. I think  that is because I used white acrylic paint and water with the watercolour pencils.

Morning all, a little last minute with this entry :) Here is my threesome of Wicked Wednesday ATC challenge.   I made a mistake starting out on the wrong type of paper - bristle board I think, and the result is a mixed media painting with pen, watercolour and acrylic and some white gel pen.

ATC Challenges at Wicked Wednesdays!

A new little blog has started up with some fun themed ATC challenges. The blog is called Wicked Wednesday and this week's theme is It's All About You! So come and check it out!
This is my ATC entry for the challenge. I guess my truth to the theme is that is  a lie. I am truly a sexy blond with huge eyes, a saucy attitude with the fragrance of channel, and  not a greying brunet, who has on sweats (clean ones) and with oud de barn wafting around :)

I updated the pic today as I was not happy with it. On the mini easel is the final jazzed up version.  I added some glitter, to the lips 3d effect, and white gel pen. I also used my art knife to help correct some line errors and added more colour.
